Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is a new language from the W3C allowing to view 2D objects inside an internet browser. SVG is based on XML and defines a format for 2D vector graphics, images and text.

SVG is designed to allow 2D dynamic drawings with animation and user interaction.
